Isn’t it awesome when you realize your favourite movie or show is actually based on a book? With all the movies and series out there, it’s cool to see how many take inspiration from books. In this age of endless streaming options, entertainment platforms are turning to books more and more. Sure, plays, music, real-life events, and even apps can inspire screenwriters, but there is something special about stories that come from books.
While book-to-movie adaptations can sometimes be a bit controversial, they hold a special place in our hearts. Adapting a book into a movie isn’t always easy. Books can take their time to explore details and complex plots, while movies have to fit everything into a couple of hours. This often means some parts of the story get left out, and that stirs up criticism. And then comes the big question: Did the book do the movie justice? Ah, the age-old debate! But hey, let’s not get too caught up in that. Instead, let’s appreciate how these adaptations bring our beloved books to life in a whole new way that we can enjoy over and over again.
